1. What We Collect
There are two types of information we end up with.
What you give us directly:
• Your email address, username, and password when you sign up
• Strategy configurations and settings you create
• Your trading history on the platform
• Anything you send us through support
What we collect automatically:
• How you use the platform (pages visited, features used, etc.)
• Device type, OS, and browser
• Your IP address and rough location
• Cookie and tracking data
2. Why We're Allowed to Use It
There are a few legal reasons we process your data, depending on the situation:
• We need it to run the platform you signed up for
• We have a legitimate interest in keeping the platform secure and improving it over time
• You've given us consent for specific things, like marketing emails
• We're legally required to in certain cases
If you've given consent for something, you can take it back at any time. Just reach out.
3. What We Do With It
Here's what we actually use your data for:
• Running the platform and keeping your account working
• Processing your strategies and tracking performance
• Sending you emails you'd expect, like receipts and important notices
• Understanding how people use the platform so we can make it better
• Catching fraud and abuse
• Staying on the right side of the law
We don't sell your data. Full stop.
4. Who We Share It With
We don't share your data with a lot of people, but there are some cases where we do:
• Vendors and services that help us run the platform, who are bound by confidentiality
• Prediction market platforms when your strategy needs to execute a trade
• Law enforcement or regulators if we're legally required to
• Other users, but only your public strategy performance on the leaderboard
Speaking of leaderboards: your strategy results and rankings are public by default. That's kind of the point of the arena.
5. How Long We Keep It
We hold onto your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we'll remove or anonymize your personal data within 30 days. The exception is if we're legally required to keep something longer, like for fraud prevention or if there's an open dispute. Anonymized, aggregated data that can't be traced back to you may stick around for analytics.
6. How We Protect It
We use standard security practices to keep your data safe:
• Encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest
• Regular security testing
• Access controls and multi-factor authentication internally
• Hosting on SOC 2-compliant infrastructure
That said, no system is perfectly secure. We can't promise your data is 100% safe from everything, but we take it seriously.
7. International Transfers
We're based in the US, so your data may end up being processed here even if you're not. When that happens across borders, we make sure the right legal safeguards are in place, like standard contractual clauses where required.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of these rights:
• See what data we have on you
• Correct data that's wrong
• Ask us to delete your data
• Get a copy of your data in a portable format
• Ask us to limit how we process it
• Object to certain kinds of processing
• Pull back consent you've previously given

9. Cookies
We only use essential cookies required to keep you logged in and your session secure. We don't use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.
10. Age Requirement
LossBot Arena is for adults only. If you're under 18, please don't sign up. We don't knowingly collect data from minors, and if we find out we have, we'll delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We'll update this policy if things change. For anything significant, we'll let you know via email or a notice on the platform before it takes effect. Continuing to use LossBot Arena after that means you're okay with the updated policy.
